Frequently asked questions

Warm white or cool white Christmas lights, which looks better?

Warm white (around 2700K) reads classic, cozy and photographs beautifully. Cool white (4000K+) reads icy and modern but can feel sterile indoors. Most homes look best in warm white.

How many lights per Christmas tree?

100 LED lights per vertical foot of tree, minimum. For a magazine-shoot look, double that to 200 per foot: yes, that's 1400 lights on a 7-foot tree.

Are LED Christmas lights cheaper to run?

LEDs use roughly 80–90% less electricity than incandescents, run cool to the touch, and last 25 times longer. The upfront cost pays back within two seasons of nightly use.
